BALLOON-PROPELLED
ROCKET
Make
this colourful tissue-paper rocket and watch it fly
across the room!
-
First blow up a long balloon and wrap a sleeve of
tissue paper loosely around it. Decorate the tissue
paper so that it looks like a rocket.
- Tape
a straw lengthways along the top of the rocket sleeve.
Thread string through the straw. Tie the string to
two chairs to make the rocket runway.
- Now
remove the first balloon and blow up another. Without
tying the end, insert this balloon into the rocket
sleeve and ...let go!
We'll
